The "We Care" Project

Our We Care Project was established in 2005. We were excited that for our first year, the Lord enabled us to minister to over sixty families during Thanksgiving and Christmas by providing meals and gifts. It was an honor to see the smiles on the faces of many families that received from our ministry.  Each year the Lord has enabled us to minitister to more and more individuals and as of to date, we have blessed over 1000 individuals.  We give thanks to all those who have faithfully supported the ministry. Without your prayers and support these families may have gone without during the holiday season.

Adopt a Family

In 2006 we introduced a new facet of this project called "Adopt a Family." We would like to encourage those that are interested in sponsoring a family for Christmas to let us know as soon as possible. Sponsorship simply means supporting a family or individual (s) by purchasing Christmas gifts for the family, which will be a three to five member family or individual (s).

Wow! God is so faithful. Because of the generosity of so many precious people our "Adopt A Family" phase of our project was a huge success. During our second year, eight out of ten of our families were personally sponsored. Each year our desire is to bless more people than the previous year and the Lord has enabled us to do that by allowing us to minister to nearly 70 families in 2006.  The project grows each year by the grace of God allowing us to minister to many more individuals and families.

Along with individual donations, the project is also currently supported by area grocery and warehouse stores and even other non-profit organizations. These companies and organizations help us by donating gift cards, food, toiletries and other needed items which assist us in ministering to those that need our help.

Please prayerfully consider how you may support us in reaching those that are lost, and less fortunate in our area. In 2 Corinthians 9:7 it says: So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.(NKJV)

We thank you in advance for helping those that are in need. It touches our heart to be a Blessing to others and how much more does it touch and Bless the Heart of our Father! May God.  "Bless you to Be a Blessing."
